Not for nothing, but when you hear "jet fuel" your mind springs to ridiculously volatile stuff that's just itching to explode, but it's really not much different from diesel. The gasoline in your car is way the hell more volatile than Jet A.

I heard a conspiracy theory today that the security guard was in on it.

Where are all of the spent shells on the hotel room floor?

Fifty-nine seconds of silence for the victims -- including our hometown guy -- prior to the high school game tonight, their first home game since. And our PA guy, the basketball coach who's about as stoic as they come, kind of broke down as he announced it. Very poignant moment.

That was the good part. The bad part was that a community-wide memorial service was held across town at the college 30 minutes before kickoff. Which meant that any of the football players who were coached by the victim didn't have a chance to be there.

They’re there, in the picture. Look around the gun on the right.

So a conservative website called "The Hayride" for "Southern Politics and Culture" is pushing a theory that his true motive was anti-gun zealotry and a desire for guns to be banned? That he was really a damn lefty wolf in sheep's clothing?

Yeah ..aside from the facts that there's no evidence whatsoever of him ever having had such views, or that guns (along with money and gambling) appear to be about the only thing he loved ...that theory makes perfect sense.

Unless there's a manifesto in a safe deposit box that we don't know about, he'll be the D.B. Cooper of mass killers.

Everyone has a theory and they all have their share of holes in them. Looking at what he left behind in his car, you can make a case he thought he could escape, though I don't think he had any chance whatsoever to get away. The moment he breaks two windows in his hotel room and everyone on the Strip can notice them, that certainly lessens the time he has until the door of his suite is blasted open.

I am on my tablet so it is a lot harder to post pictures. Here are some pictures of the room. the fact that he was shooting a fully automatic* rifle on and off for 10 minutes tells me there should have been thousands of shells . I am not claiming a conspiracy, but I haven't seen the pictures yet where there would be thousands of spent shells on the ground .
A glimpse inside the Las Vegas shooter's hotel room

Here is the nsfw link to the body. I see some shells. Need more definitive pics.

Has anyone put out an actual count of how many gunshots Paddock unloaded?
