I feel like they had a great set up for a comedy with a captain forced to serve with his exwife who cheated on him, his old frat buddy serving as a helmsman and other aliens that can set up ridiculous situations, but they stumbled into a halfway decent sci-fi drama. I feel like the comedy is the worst part of the show which is supposed to sink a comedy. Strangely I think it's going to work as it is.

After watching a couple episodes, I kind of wonder if MacFarlane just wanted to do a "straight" sort of Star Trek show, with some mild bits of humor, but had to throw in some of 'his' traditional humor in the first couple of episodes to get it greenlit.

Too lazy to change the channel so I'm watching Big Bang Theory. I'm flabbergasted.

Loved the second episode of Curb. You can never go wrong with a Funkhauser appearance.

And the return of the Al Abas chicken lady.

The story arc is setting up to be fantastic.

Definitely riding out the string. You know what irritates me as much as anything on TV? When Jim Parsons takes that character and tries to make him earnest for a few minutes. It's just so uncomfortable and unnatural.

I never watched Curb but decided to check in this time. I was lukewarm on the first episode, but loved the second one. I don't know when the last time was that I laughed so hard at a TV episode.

I hate to sound like a perverted 15-year-old, but DAYUM is Adrianne Palicki a stunning woman. In the last episode of The Orville, she made CHARLIZE THERON look like a homely, middle-aged housewife in comparison...

Well, I wouldn't go THAT far with the Theron comparison, but I've always considered Palicki a 6.

The Blacklist continues to be absolutely wonderful and entertaining. Spader is a jewel.

That is a great show. I have a love-hate thing going on with it, though. It's so good, but it's often so intense that it's tough for me to watch.

I'm one of those who watch TV for relaxation, and who likes light and easy, or escapism, and "The Blacklist" doesn't usually lend itself to that:).

My wife started watching it at the beginning, back when my 10-year-old was born and she was up with him and needed something to watch. She's really been hooked from the start, and I started watching somewhere along the line with her. I've mostly enjoyed it I guess, but riding out the string is right. It's the only show left we watch together and I just kind of give in for the sake of that and it's getting tougher every week.
