"X is the reason Trump won" as an all-purpose rebuttal to anything the dumb person doesn't like is especially popular with dumb people these days. As is providing cover for Nazis.

You voted for a guy who claimed there was a second, secret "REAL" unemployment rate. .... and then the day after he won the election, the guy you voted for and the media personalities who wanted you to vote for him immediately stopped talking about this "REAL" unemployment rate, and they now proclaim the economy is booming.

.... and it doesn't seem to bother you one bit.

So yes - I question the intelligence of Trump voters, and even moreso I question the intelligence of the remaining Trump loyalists, since they've seen what nine months of President Trump will look like.

The stock market goes up and President Trump thinks it is reducing the national debt.

President Trump just claimed stock market gains actually offset national debt. They don't
Its a dumb statement, made by a dumb president, who has tens of millions of dumb followers.
The left has a pretty good idea why they lost. There really are a lot of dumb people in this country.

At least they've revealed their priorities. I actually thought they cared about things like reducing the deficit or rebalancing power away from the federal government and toward states. But nope, they're happy as can be when not an inch of progress has been made toward those goals.

That and entrenched racism. They will continue to rewrite the voting rules as much as they need to in order to make sure that the votes are cast by a critical mass of white people, regardless of the makeup of the country itself.

Or when the reverse happens, because their team is doing it.

15 million viewers for a rando Thursday night game.

Meanwhile, the NLCS game one, featuring LA and Chicago, and some of the biggest names in the game, and where everybody stands for the anthem, had six million viewers.

Trump was simply saying that a lot of wealth had been created since he took office, which made the size of the debt less important/intimidating.

And, if we can get growth to above the putrid levels attained during the eight years of the Obama administration, we can actually pay down the debt.

Wait. So federal debt is more manageable when the economy is growing?

That's an amazing discovery. Someone should check to see if federal spending can have multiplier effects on economic growth. We might be on to something. The deficit hawks are gonna feel so dumb.

    No.
You can talk like a dummy to your other dumb Trump friends. I'm not having it.
"As you know, the last eight years, [the federal government] borrowed more than it did in the whole history of our country," Trump said. "So they borrowed more than $10 trillion, right? And yet we picked up $5.2 trillion just in the stock market. Possibly picked up the whole thing in terms of the first nine months, in terms of value."

"So you could say, in one sense, we're really increasing values. And maybe in a sense we're reducing debt. But we're very honored by it," Trump said.

Trump is an idiot and so are his supporters. He said the stock market went up and we're reducing debt. It is stupid. In no way is the stock market going up reducing debt. IT IS NOT REDUCING DEBT. Got it, dummy?

Trump apparently mocks Pence behind closed doors for "wasted energy" trying to fight abortions.
