I've seen that sort of thing, too, guys who think they've reached some sort of "higher" level with waitresses, hostesses, escorts, etc. And it leads me to two questions. 1) Can that person really be that self-unaware that he doesn't see how creepy he is? or 2) Is this accepted behavior in his cultural circle? I know it's probably 2), but that's a pretty sad commentary on where we're at.

You can probably find some porn sites to scratch that itch. Don't forget to bookmark.

I was thinking this earlier. How many things we've seen in romantic comedies would get a guy in trouble?

Maybe we should ask a few women. I bet they'd know.

I never understood why women seem to enjoy "50 Shades of Grey." I watched the movie. It's emotional abuse played as sexy camp.

Try reading it. Worst shit I've ever seen. Makes James Patterson look like Nabokov.

Don't forget Luke and Laura, once one of America's favorite fictional couples:
    Luke and Laura Spencer

Remember how that romantic storyline started, and that was a show aimed at a female audience.

Grease sets a pretty high bar for misogyny.

Returning to the creepiness meter, the last few posts have been making a bid.

I think everyone has probably witnessed this stuff in one form or another. Bosses putting hands on female workers, I know I once made a comment that offended a co-worker and immediately apologized because while we'd always had some good back and forth, she reacted differently. It wasn't my comment alone, but some other stuff she was dealing with that set her off.
She was calling a prison to interview an inmate for a story and I heard her repeatedly explain why she was calling. I said after she hung up "Did they think you were calling for a date?"
I felt really bad. I don't think men really get it. While some women may give as well as they take in office banter, it doesn't mean they like it, or welcome it.

I think that the women who *truly* know what pigs most men can be are good looking twins. That's a near universal male fantasy, making it with twins... and I can just see the thought balloon when some guy brings it up. "Lessee, you want to have sex with me because you have this twin fantasy, not because of me, really. And my sister and I are supposed to provide the hot girl on girl action for your twin fetish, too, right? Eccccchhh!".

There was a old Coors commercial, and the only thing about it that sticks in my memory was the pervy looking guy going "And Twins!".
