Its pure and simple a power move for men to pretend to know what a woman feels and dictate how the woman should respond.

You can bring out all the examples you want but woman are playing from behind since the dawn of history, so their moves, apparently complicit when viewed as a static event, when viewed in the big picture is simply their reacting to a sequence of events that has them constantly playing from behind.

 

If men are supposed to get more “woke,” it’s not unreasonable to unpack what is appealing about “50 Shades of Grey.”

In what way specifically is #metoo supposed to move the needle?

 

Think it's supposed to raise awareness for men sexually assaulting women.

 

By letting men know that every woman they know has been sexually harassed or assaulted many times. Also, that what men think is harassment needs to expand.

One woman on my timeline included an incident in a restaurant where she felt exposed by a man she didn't know buying her a drink.

 

Does she realize she could say "No thank you."

 

sure. But the feeling that someone has been giving you unwanted attention from afar can seem like an emotional assault, I guess.

We're in for massive chilling effects on both sides, eventually.
