Your daily reminder that Twitter is bad, and has done untold harm to our democracy, despite being used by a tiny percentage of people.

How else would we know a #FatGuyTouchdown happened in an non-televised Sun Belt game?

It’s neither good nor bad. The president who tweets is bad. The shit he tweets is lies. The people that enjoy and believe the lying tweets of the bad President are barbaric

The problem with Twitter that I see is that it (and, to a lesser degree, other social media platforms) rests on a “get the bartender’s attention” dynamic ... to be heard, one has to roll out a pretty strident take, and when everybody’s screaming (metaphorically), you’ve gotta get even further out there.

Perhaps we all overestimated your intelligence. Or perhaps you are lying and doubling down. It's got to be one of the two.

Much like Facebook was a better replacement for MySpace, something needs to come along and be a better Twitter.

If Trump wasn't President or a celebrity, he'd be Alicia in Texas. If she is a bot, how much fun would it be to "fill out the profile" and add the bits that make it more believable. The interest in jewelry, bad football teams and what a fact.

Another heartfelt review for "The Fabulous Follies of Fucko the Clown" ...

Just like when he said he got the most electoral votes by a presidential candidate. And then it was by a republican. And then he was the guy who led the league in doubles after the seventh inning of weekend games at night when the time is after 9 p.m.
