    I heard her today on Morning Joe.

    She's terrible. She says the president says, “he knew what he signed up for, or something like that.”

    Or something like that??

    You can’t make this kind of charge, right after the event happened, and provide us with only a paraphrase, when it’s the very wording that is in question.

    I have no doubt the widow is upset, and may not have taken the comfort the call was intended to provide, it for this congresswoman to to gin this up, and try to make it into a political issue is unconscionable.

    And, if Trump is so terrible at this, so poorly spoken, so lacking in empathy, then why haven’t we heard similar accounts from the families of the other three Green Berets, who Trump also called yesterday, or any other seevice member’s family who Trump has previously called?

    This congresswoman is exploiting the grief of a widow for political gain.

    This whole thing stinks. From Trump AND Wilson. Now they both say they have PROOF!

    The President lied (or to be charitable, spoke without any knowledge of the underlying facts) about what Obama did regarding calling the families of the slain military members. And let's be clear, he was saying this simply to justify to himself that he's better than Obama.
