The 2020 election is a long way away, but when the Republicans are making such a mess of things now, I guess I can understand the desire to find any distraction available.

None of the top candidates in that meaningless poll would be my first choice (though Biden would be excellent). And let's not forget the giant orange turd is 71.

But yeah, strong candidate younger than 60 would be better. Nobody knows who that is yet. Things will begin to shake out in the next 18 months.

 

This must be one of those moments where my skipping many pages of a thread leaves me confused.

 

It's a commentary on, to some degree, how few real, electable options exist.
