Sounds like a good question to bring up with whoever posted the link. LMK what you find out!

You really don't know? Guess I shouldn't be surprised.

Still waiting for you to respond to oop's party-loyalty comment.

I did. It is beyond stupid for anyone who fancies themselves a follower of politics to feign incredulousness that party politics is about party politics.

Alabama, the land of George Wallace and Jeff Sessions, why would I even think that their citizens would elect a reasonable person?

It is, but they didn't think he'd win, and they didn't think they could vocally support any option that helped Clinton.

Where GOP lawmakers really erred is in not casting their lot with one candidate in the primaries. They let right-wing media play the "ooh, how about this person? Or this person? Ooh, Carly Fiorina! Hey, Chris Christie!" It needed to be Rubio or Kasich and get on with it.

Carson's candidacy was the saddest. Here's a great surgeon trying his hand at politics, a guy too brilliant by half, so lacking in the art of BS that he said a couple ridiculous things that Trump didn't even try on. The guns/Holocaust line was a howler.

Of course, if Ted Cruz, asshole, hadn't run, it would have been different, too.

I’m surprised none of our news junkies noticed this story:

In other words, they needed to narrow the laundry.
