The Rangers "script" across the front has always bothered be because it is a different font from the "T" on the hat.

    The Royals as well.

Yeah, isn't that gray? Oriole's never used blue as far as I recall

A glut of blue textile dye made them super cheap

Does it have to be a city?
They don't have a city in their name.

Tampa Bay as well. They should go with a sTp logo.

I'll only give this much. It's better than having a cap with the initial of your mascot.

So what teams in the 1970s wore the light blue road unis when blue wasn't part of their color scheme? I count Philadelphia, Minnesota, Texas, St.Louis, Atlanta. Who am I missing?

Somebody should write a piece about the blue uniform phenomenon.
    I'd read that

Texas and Atlanta had royal blue in its color scheme at the time, so I don't think the blue roads were out of line. In retrospect, I always thought the Cards in powder blue was kind of odd; the others I just accepted because that's what they wore when I started following the game.

I also wonder what teams that never went with powder blue on the road actually could have made it work. The Dodgers, Angels and Mets come to mind.

I wish the Astros would wear the Nolan Ryan years jerseys from the 1980s for one World Series game.

White Sox introduced them in '64 and wore them through '75 or so (the road uniform during the Dick Allen years was light blue with bright red hats, letters and numbers and rather gaudy). I also remember the Expos, Royals and Brewers wearing powder blue on the road, although all three teams' color schemes featured blue prominently. Cubs wore powder blue on the road for a while, too.
