You don't get to play that game.

He said there never was. Facts showed there was. That's the end of that story.

If you want to write another, separate, story about average growth, have at it.

Oh, they tried to get it out prior to the election.

Steele and Fusion GPS were attempting to pedal it to journalists all over town as an independent “intelligence”report.

Thankfully, most of the media recognized it for what it was — unconfirmed gossip.

But David Corn wrote about it, and Harry Reid complained that the media was holding back explosive information about Trump.

    It’s funny.

People want to pretend that Hillary’s 2008 campaign wasn’t the genesis of the Obama bother low.

“Oh, no. It was Hillary supporters, but not her or her campaign.”

Well, here we see how the sausage gets made. Hillary commissions a damaging oppo research report —the truth be damned — and they try to pass it of to the media as independent research.

    Nowhere to go but up.

Truth is, if Trump averages 3% for his first term, he gets a second term.

In the end, who gives a shit who funded the dossier? It doesn't matter. The dossier didn't lead to Trump firing Comey, which is what led to Mueller's appointment. It's all a fucking shell game. They're panicked as hell, so they're using whatever they can to argue "Hey, it's not that we're clean; everyone is shady, so who cares?"

I don’t think so, but last election put me out the prediction business.

Probably. We've 0nly had three years of 3%+ growth this millennium. And no president has averaged it through a term since Clinton.

    They’re panicked as hell?

Why? Because Manafort might get indicted for financial crimes dating back to 2010, which were previously investigated, and have nothing to do with the Trump campaign?

That a fake “dossier”was compliled in an effort to discredit a major party candidate, and that it was commissioned by a rival campaign, is big news.

That Comey referenced it’s contents in a briefing with Trump is the only reason some news orgs used as justification to report on it, and divulge its (uncorroborated) contents.

And, the big if is whether or not the FBI used it to help obtain FISA warrants or to justify the unmasking of Trump associates picked up in monitored conversations.

The economies inherited by Obama and Trump are as different as night and day

In the three months before President Obama came to office — the last quarter of 2008 — the nation's economy was contracting at a rate of 8.2 percent, the biggest quarterly decline in real gross domestic product since 1958. The month before Obama took office, payroll employment fell by 695,000. The unemployment rate was 7.3 percent and rising fast.

Now let's look at the economy President-elect Donald Trump is inheriting. Since we're still in the last quarter of this year, we don't yet know its GDP growth rate, but the Federal Reserve Bank of Atlanta's tracker predicts it will come in at 2.9 percent (last quarter's growth rate was a robust 3.2 percent). According to this morning's jobs report, employment growth was 178,000 and the unemployment rate was 4.6 percent, a nine-year low, and close enough to the Fed's estimate of full employment .

When Mueller's done with this, maybe he can he start the Biden-Ukraine investigation.

Like I said, panic. Stone's meltdown on Twitter was an obvious tell.
