He's better than anything else they would have in the 'pen for Game 7.

That OF ball off his noggin must have caused some CTE.

Liz Habib: "Garv would you agree that was the hard part for the
    Dodgers this evening?" (paraphrasing)

Garvey: "No the toughest part was keeping your hair curled for five and a half hours Liz, and you look fabulous" grins and knowingly nudges broadcast partner.

Creeps never learn. (Fox 11 post game show Los Angeles)

    Great, fun, crazy game.

But Game 7 last year (as someone who has no rooting interest in the Astros, Dodgers, Indians or Cubs).

Very dramatic with the Indians comeback. I guess the rain delay added more intrigue. But for 7 and a half innings it wasn't anything out of the normal without adding the historic value of two championship-starved franchises playing a winner-take-all

Unless the Dodgers sign Pablo Sandoval.

The Game 7 aspect is what does it for me.

No matter what, this is a tremendous time to be a hardcore baseball fan.

Garvey made the post game show all about him. Terrible.

Is it just me or as the world outside sports gets crazier, the things on the field get crazier and crazier in championship-level games? In all sports. We have once-in-a-lifetime games happening on monthly basis it seems like.

You're right. It makes no sense. The Dodgers had their chance to "answer" in the 10th and didn't do it. To me, it was more like a tennis match where the first one to break serve against the other put themselves at an advantage. The Dodgers did that in the bottom of the ninth, and then the Astros did it again in the top of the 10th.
