Nobody is being outed for "misconstrued statements" and it is part of the problem when people try to frame it that way. All of these accusations have described deeply predatory behavior. Nobody is being strung up for flirting a little too hard.

A misconstrued comment? Or diddling a 14 year old boy?

    True.

Does the #metoo movement also include people who feel they were "flirted with" a little too hard? If it never crossed into the physical or a clear "if you don't do this for me / you won't get that" quid pro quo?

It does among the reactionary/backlash set that wants to dismiss former presidents' ass-grabbing so everybody can get down at the World Series.

But there's no consequences to being one of the triggers to the #MeToo movement, so what's the problem?

Like anything else, it can depend on the stability of the person.

As a freshly-divorced man from a verbally and, occasionally, physical abusive alcoholic wife, sometimes...yes.

I would suggest that recent trauma is clouding your judgment on this issue

Who knew our choices were solely limited to gropers? Kinda like how Penn State-Miami was good vs. evil but nah not really.
