True. Some didn't have the sense to be embarrassed by their ridiculously low standards of evidence.

 

Some aren't so stupid and naïve to believe what was happening was clean.

 

It was dramatic baseball, but not really "great baseball". Probably the most compelling "bad baseball" I can recall was Game 6 in the 2011 WS. Not that I'm still bitter or anything ...

 

Maybe not best played, but it had to be one of the most exciting and compelling by the back-and-forth nature

Did anybody figure out why the Dodgers were bunting with no outs and a man on second, in a game that clearly isn't going to be a low scoring affair?

tl;dr Having Hernandez hit cleanup made sense against Keuchel because he kills lefties, but against righties he is basically a pitcher. So if you can’t afford to take him out — and the Dodgers went short bench for another arm in the series — you’re kind of stuck. Maybe he could have rolled the dice that Hernandez nubs one through the right side, but the bunt in that moment wasn’t totally crazy.

 

Nobody believed that, but thank you for once again making it clear that you didn't even understand the discussion.
