Or you could save yourself some time and accept the truth. I never posted that. Regarding YF, I call out bullshit when I see it. If he is too cowardly to engage, that is on him. But please note that he did jump on the chance to brag about hiding behind the button on this thread. As I said before, it takes a special brand of gutlessness to needle the person you claim to be hiding from using the button.

The Phillies named Gabe Kapler as their new manager. Thanks to his muscular build, Kapler faced PED accusations during his career. He wrote a guest article for Baseball Prospectus in 2013 in which he addressed the subject, including his concern regarding unfounded PED accusations made against MLB players.

Covered Kapler when he was fourth outfielder for the 2004 Red Sox. Surely more thoughtful than the average manager. That of course doesn't mean he'll be good at it. But he wouldn't get too depressed or uninterested working for a franchise that's two more good organizational years away from .500. Not that type of person.

 

Trivia: Gabe Kapler played center field for the Tigers in the final game at Tiger Stadium. Every player wore a jersey that day honoring Detroit's best player at each position. However, Kapler wore a uniform without a number in honor of Ty Cobb. Detroit didn't use numbers on their jerseys until 1931. (Whether he beat up a crippled heckler in the grandstands was not mentioned.)

My point was always that the accuser should be able to prove guilt rather than forcing the accused to prove innocence. It really is amazing that you can't grasp such a simple concept.
