How do you think we knew about these indictments Friday?

Yeah, this is bullshit, too. It is absolutely legitimate to have issues with one candidate's campaign to collude with a foreign power. That isn't rationalization. That is a valid concern. Of course, we don't know that for sure, at least not yet, but that is the issue being pursued.

It's easy to "both sides" when you get to make up imaginary reactions

Unless the Russians fixed votes what did we expect from them? Of course they are trying to influence the election, isn’t that what all countries do? Including yours.

If this does somehow lead to Trump being impeached or worse, how effective might a Pence White House be? Would it lead to huge Dem wins or not?

I would expect Americans not to be complicit in it but not sure why anyone’s surprised it’s happening.

The rationalization comes when you DON'T have issues . . . if your side wins.

    ab-so-bleeping-lutely.

Where on earth do you think the president of Ukraine came from? We installed him. It's what we do (when we can).

You'd have to ask CNN, since they broke the story. But once indictments are being prepared, a whole bunch of people are brought into the equation who aren't on Mueller's team. Investigative reporters know how this works and have sources in the legal system. The fact that the story was "indictments are coming" without names is a pretty clear indication it didn't come from Mueller's people. The last thing he'd want to do his give his targets a heads-up.

By all accounts, Mueller is a professional and as assembled a team of professionals. The "Mueller's a leaker" crap is just another attempt to distract and discredit.
