    The very first game of the playoffs had a manager pull his starter in the first when it was clear he didn't have it. His team won that elimination game. His team subsequently canned him.

    This Series being what it has been, does anybody think this will wind up a semi-routine 7-1 Astros win? I sure don’t.

    I had a similar thought. I said to my wife when McCullers drove in a run (first pitcher to drive in an RBI in the WS since Pettite?) that they needed to pull Darvish like Girardi yanked Severino.
