Fans are liable to drive in from Louisiana and Oklahoma for that one.

They'll be through before he hits free agency.

Both those teams had plans and stuck to them despite the criticism they were receiving.

I hope he doesn't retire, just so he can keep adding numbers. I feel like he'll be just short and voters will make him wait.

Congrats to all the SJ Astros! They're a fantastic young team. Let's see how long they can keep the core together.

So the teams from 18 on down haven't won any. That goes back a lot further than 2010, too. Meanwhile the Giants won a Super Bowl with a payroll that was second from the bottom in the NFL. Thanks for helping prove my point.

Gotta love LTL tried to use a season in which one of the largest markets in baseball won theWorld Series in a year that the four largest cities made the championship series as an argument against the deck being stacked in favor of the financial big boys. I didn't even have to bring up the Dodgers and their massive payroll being a game away from a championship to destroy that one. (Sure, I just brought it up, but I didn't even need it.)
