I love an egg on my burger. The Royal Robin at Red Robin is very good. I make a grilled ham and cheese with an over easy egg in it a few times a month. In fact I might make one today.

For those of you who haven't had a fried egg on a burger, you're missing out. Messy, but so, so good.
My favorite burger join in my little neck of Wisconsin has this healthy guy:

First time I had an egg on a “burger” was when I had loco moco in Hawaii.

It’s a very good idea and very tasty when done right. I’m not sure I trust Burger King to execute it properly, though.

That sounds very interesting. At the risk of outing yourself, may I ask where that is from? I love my burgers and I am always on the lookout for cool joints when I am traveling the state.

Off 94 between Madison and Milwaukee (near the outlets in Johnson Creek if you know them):

Right by Jefferson. Do you frequent Wedl's at all? That is a tasty burger, a bit peppery but cheesy, oniony goodness.

No, I haven't. I'll have to check it out. Me/fam are in Lake Mills, so would be a quick jaunt. Usually, if I pop into Jefferson it's because of this place Home

Ever do the American Legion Hamburger stand in Lake Mills? I have never been there but want to try.
