Exactly. It's to the point where can't even fake the obligatory horrified reactions anymore. It's now just part of the American routine.

We're desensitized to atrocities that would be regarded by all with abject horror in other countries. And the crazy thing is it doesn't have to be this way. We have the power to change this. We choose not to use it.

On the bright side, there are a couple dozen fewer frightening people around next time you drive through the American South. #profit

Unless, of course, the shooter isn't a white man.

The shooter has already been executed.

Sheesh. You need to go to a church and repent for that one.

That's what happens when you post in haste. I knew that and flat overran it.

The basic point stands... as usual, there will be wringing of hands and piously intoned platitudes, followed by no change whatsoever.

I assume a good guy with a gun stopped him?

I hope the victim's loved ones understand this is not a big deal.

Reported that pastor's daughter among the dead.

The first comment I read on the story I clicked was "They were Trump supporters, who cares?" Someone shot back that such a comment was par for the course for someone who supported a woman whose charity kidnapped Haitian children for an elite pedophile ring. I get that the Internet lends a largely anonymous forum for assholes to be assholes. But it's hard not to see stuff like this, with the bodies still warm no less, and think ignorance and evil is always going to win out.
