Guy on CNN: "You can buy these guns in Texas -- they're like a loaf of bread."

Twitter is terrible for society. In the hours following something like this especially, it's just a cesspool of bots and idiots. I think I'm going to follow @Double Down out the door there. It's like volunteering to be infected with rage.

Thoughts and prayers to Wayne La Pierre and all the members of the NRA who face some scrutiny tomorrow.

It used to be that Florida was the butt of the joke for the cuckoos.

Texas has surged into the lead.

Everybody - well, a lot of people - are saying, "Something must be done!"

Yeah, no shit. Only a fool would disagree. I have yet to see anyone propose anything that would work because, well, nothing would. You're not getting the guns back. They're out there. Most of them in the hands of the good, law-abiding citizens. But not all of them. As someone noted, they're as easy to get as a loaf of bread and if someone is determined to do something like this, it likely will be done.

So as the quoted post notes, a bunch of children were killed and absolutely nothing changed and there's no question that should have cemented it for everybody that it isn't going to change. Because there's no longer a way to make it change.

Bush didn't want it to happen.
Obama didn't want it to happen.
Trump didn't want it to happen.

But it keeps happening and WILL continue.

Shit, what is this, 3 or 4 since Las Vegas?
