    DeVos was roundly criticized for her lack of basic knowledge about education policy during the confirmation hearing process. She blames President Donald Trump's transition team, claiming she was "undercoached."

    One doubts most nominees for education secretary need to be coached not to cite grizzly bears as a reason for guns in schools.

    Yeah, I'm going with mowing at a time when the sound of a mower was not cool. I don't think most people would regard adultery as trivial, but maybe I'm just old fashioned.

    A lawyer looking to cover something up for his client might. It's not a lie legally, just an opinion. Also, saying it was about mowing or some such bullshit sets his client up for some kind of mental break defense.
