Give me a break. They just have to be able to run and kick the ball.

And we're openly calling on the Russians to show us the pee tape.

If I was a candidate, and if I knew my opponent was guilty of, say, child molestation, and I knew the only convincing evidence of this was held by Russia (because it was done at a Junior Miss Universe pageant in Moscow), damn right I'd call on them to destroy my child molesting opponent by producing the evidence.

Being able to run and kick the ball is one thing. Actually running and kicking the ball is another entirely. These reporters fucking executed.

And if I did that as part of an exchange with Russian officials where I agreed to change US foreign policy for it, I'd be in trouble

Also: Can't remember whether it was upthread on this thread or on some other thread or, hell, maybe some other conversation I was having, but I'm definitely getting the sense that in the WaPo vs. NYT battle, you're seeing the difference having a Marty Baron makes over being led by a Dean Baquet. Baron is, quite simply, the editor this country needs right now.

That was me on this thread. Baron is a super editor. Baquet is a mediocre one. So despite having the paper with the most resources, he's losing this "war." Not really a war, because at bottom the Post is a local paper, not a national one, and the guy at the WSJ, the Times' real competitor, isn't an editor at all, just a Murdoch ideological stooge.

Biden sees one Democrat who can beat Trump in 2020: Joe Biden

YF, I'm from Delaware. Everyone there loves Joe Biden as a person, even my brother, who still lives there and is a backroom wheel in Republican state politics, even if they detest his positions. But every time he's run for President, he's been smoked. Best finish out of two was making it to seventh place in the Iowa caucuses. He doesn't need that again. Besides, he inspired the Onion Joe Biden. What more can a man accomplish in life?

Trump would be in favor of that.
