Announcers in the WVU-Texas A&M hoops game just said there will be more than 3,500 college games across the ESPN platforms this seasons

But only 30,000 Kaepernick references during that time.

But if you want to know what happened around the league, you’d need to click on 15 different clips. There’s something nice about having someone package it all together for you. Same reason I prefer looking at a single page of baseball agate in the paper instead to trying to click through every single game on some app.

Even on TV, the four biggies in the U.S. have their own network with highlight shows. Need those Mariners-Rangers highlights instead of a discussion of what LeBron had for dinner? There's Quick Pitch.

Her value to me is equal to a pile of dog shit. Her importance is minor, though, in the fact that I hope she is fired and is never relevant again. Take it however you wish.

I'll take it that you're exerting psychic energy hoping a stranger will lose her job because you didn't like the things she wrote on Twitter that no one forced you to read.

And how ESPN didn't begin making itself part of the story.

Exactly. They've become part of the story, instead of remaining just the storytellers.

    Absolutely goddamn right!

Frankly, "hoping strangers lose their job" is pretty standard fare, be it coaches, players, broadcasters, politicians, etc.
