President Trump: The NEW one and only politics thread

Lost in the noise of the constant outrage-of-the-day news cycle is what President Trump is doing to the federal judiciary. So far he's named four judges that the ABA deemed "unqualified" - the most in any presidency since the ABA started rating nominees in the Eisenhower administration.

This one seems particularly egregious:

Card-carrying member of hateful-right-wing-media takes a swipe at the "identity politics" set ... imagine quite a few sj.com posters (and one in particular) will be discomfited by the messenger-message combination.

Yeah. I get kinda mad about the "why didn't she report it" stuff. Sure, a 14 year old was supposed to call the local police and report the county district attorney, right? The one who met her while her mother was at the courthouse? Riiight. I don't know the circumstance on this new complaint, but that's the hammer on the other one.

 

He's posted stories from sources that questionable in the past and he wasn't kidding, so he doesn't deserve that benefit of the doubt.

Great question. What would the result of McCarthy hearings have been? Vietnam? JFK assassination investigation? The list goes on.

 

I'm pretty sure @doctorquant had a more saintly poster in mind.
