@Big Circus , what’s the real story for why Huff didn’t play in the opener?

Rough start for Pitt. Not exactly an ACC power, but losing at home to Montana ... ouch.

Bennett says it’s matchups and I haven’t heard otherwise. Him suspending contributors for the opener isn’t new - it happened to London Perrantes and Austin Fucking Nichols in the past few years - but he always announced it. Not a peep here. Can’t imagine what he was so worried about with UNC-Greensboro.

Ole Miss beat Eastern Kentucky 85-75 tonight to improve to 2-0.
It's the first time Ole Miss has pushed its all-time record over .500 since Jan. 12, 1959.
    Ole Miss is now 1,283-1,282.

Pitt lost to Montana at home. LOL.

Chris Mooney might not make it to Thanksgiving at Richmond if the Spiders' early start continues. Was down by 33 at home to Delaware and lost by 13. Then lost by 33 to Jacksonville State at home. JSU was at least a tourney team last year, but yikes.

Wichita State is really really good.

This team has the chance to be the worst Pitt basketball team in history and it's not even close. Kevin Stallings - a head scratcher of a hire if there ever was one - has run off most players from the old regime and is going with a youth movement.

His first two games under the new AD have been absolute beatdowns. He's had a nice career there but it's been past time for the change the last two years. Some alums will clamor for Kevin Eastman but he way too old and wouldn't take the job anyways.

Should be a good job. Good league, excellent facilities, plenty of money.

It really is a good facility. UR is such a distant second fiddle to VCU in Richmond ... I understand why, huge public school vs. private school that draws more from out of state than in. I've noticed UR is trying to reach out a little more to the community this year, more advertising around town and things like that. Still, you can get a ticket at the Robins Center most nights for less than $10 bucks. They can't give them away.
