The media would be fellating Obama under similar circumstances.

Hell, Ben Rhodes spun the media, and Cranberry, into fellating Obama for getting our sailors released from Iran, after Iran first violated their rights under the Geneva Conventions. It was John Kerry's relationship with the Iranians that got them released so quickly. We even thanked the Iranians for capturing our sailors, treating them improperly, and then releasing them.

But, no one is saying this is an example of Trump forging relationships with foreign leaders.

They would. And so would the general public. Because Obama was a great guy. Eminently likeable.
Trump, on the other hand, is a complete asshat. And an immature child to boot. And an utter embarrassment to our country.
So he's not going to get the benefit of the doubt.
There's a price to pay for living your life as an asswipe. People hate you.

Because his party leaders don't want a one seat majority to fight with? They couldn't win on repeal and replace with two.

    Because Trump tells him to?

Because he does not want to see a Democrat in his seat?

It's more than fine with me if he stays in the DOJ. He's told too many lies. Mueller is going to crucify him.

Oh, I'm sure he did a fine job getting them out of it.

But I could do without him chiding his kids for not thanking him when he passed the potatoes.

Trump should hire some spin doctors as good as Rhodes was for Obama then - instead of demanding praises be showered upon him via Twitter.
