I think Cuban is overthinking that.

As for the anti-trust nonsense (all anti-trust action is populist crap. ... and government overreach). ... This is so blatantly egregious an abuse of power. In every area of deregulation, Trump has been so on the side of large businesses. But in this case, he is all Bernie Sanders.

The head of the anti-trust division, a hyena named Makan Delrahim, went on the record before Trump was president saying that he didn't see an anti-trust problem. ... which isn't surprising, because they never attempt to block these kinds of vertical integrations of non competitors. The few times they have tried anything remotely close to this (and really there is no direct precedent), the courts wouldn't let them. Then, Trump got elected, and this guy flipped to match Trump -- who had been making comments about the merger on the campaign trail because of his vendetta against CNN. Then when the stories came out that the Justice Department had been telling them to sell CNN if they want a deal to pass their muster, Trump says, "I didn't make that decision. ... it was made by a very, very respected person." i.e. -- his toadie, Delrahim. It's a giant sham. We already know that a Justice Department under Trump doesn't even pretend to independence. We have seen what he did with the FBI. Does anyone really believe this is different?

Trump is the grotesque extreme that should demonstrate to even people who previously didn't get it why anti-trust action is corrupt nonsense in the guise of do gooding -- which actually ends up hurting people, not helping them.

Dude couldn't even pardon the turkey without slamming Obama - and Harry Truman.

OTOH, we should all be jealous of the turkey producers' group that got to give the president the bird.

Did the turkey look at Trump and commit suicide rather than waiting for the pardon?

Three business hours after the story broke is a pretty swift response.

Agreed, which is why YF's post attacking Democrats for not responding quickly enough this morning was ridiculous even for him.
