A foursome is a meeting, technically.

Seems normal enough to be elected President.

    Ok, I’ll rephrase.

What Biden and HW have done has not eclipsed their prevailing reputations as generally decent people.

    Trump was never considered such.

There is always an element of self-selection in these focus group and man on the street cable shitshows, since any ordinary citizen with an ounce of sense asked to discuss their political views on national TV would say "fuck no!" I don't know whether that's the reason or whether producers seek out the worst they can find out of bias, but the Trump voters who defend Trump get dumber and dumber.

    I didn’t say “normal.”

The reputation given to them by folks like Mark Halperin, Glenn Thrush, and Charlie Rose?

This is silly. Coach K (no way I’m trying to spell his last name) has a good reputation.

Joe Biden and Bill Clinton play the game well. Reporters like them, and agree with them politically. Plus, they support all the “right” issues. Of course Joe has a good reputation.

Does he deserve it? It’s a media creation. Why are we giving him any credit for it?

Thanks for this post. My start-up is generally in this space, or at least materially affected by what happens here, so I found it very interesting.

Remember when someone would post a mug shot of a person and say they had guilty eyes or some such look, and the board's concern trolls would jump up from their desk and quickly say one could not ascribe a person's thoughts or feelings from a photo?

    You voted for Donald Trump.

But please: Continue your lecture on Joe Biden.

    I’ve said the same.

Are you really going to argue that Joe had nothing to do with how people view him, and that he’s entirely a creation of a friendly media?
