I just don't understand the lying about this. It's the day before Thanksgiving. A good percentage of people are spending more time at the office potluck than working. And another significant percentage took three vacation days this week to get nine consecutive days off. Today is a perfect day for the POTUS, any POTUS to play golf. It's like lying is the default setting for this administration.

100 percent on this. I don't give a shit if he's playing golf today. But why the hell the need to lie? He's pathological.

I’m. It trying to mischaracterize what you’re saying, but either way, you’re making excuses for him.

Bush was head of the CIA back when they were at their black-bag best, so I’d refrain from grouping him in with generally decent people. Just bc a guy carries himself with dignity in public, doesn’t mean he’s dignified. I’d say 99 percent of people thought Charlie Rose was a standup guy too. We don’t really know these people much at all.

100,000s fake comments were submitted to the FCC site about net neutrality. The NY AG is trying to investigate. FCC isn't helping nor seems to care.

Well, considering that I'd like to see Roy Moore defeated, I don't find it amusing.

What was he supposed to say? "Your honor, I took UAB's money to defend the institution, and I have a legal obligation to do so, and I swore an oath to give my best effort in their interests. But I believe the plaintiff so you should totally rule against my clients."?

Doug Jones defended people way worse than this. He was good at his job so the desperate sought him out. We start holding lawyers accountable for the actions of their clients before they were clients, then we've ended the rule of law. He was also a very effective prosecutor when he wore a different hat.

In this state, just tying Jones to UAB might be more damaging than tying him to statutory rapists.

Hopefully it won't be a very effective attack and will fade away quickly. The story is on the front page of Al.com today but it's not getting a lot of traction so far.

A floodgate of actual allegations against powerful men and you all have now spent the last 12 hours talking almost exclusively about Joe Biden.

To paraphrase another poster, you can't say @YankeeFan isn't good at what he does.
