Thanks! Forgot it was New Rochelle, which of course makes sense with Iona Prep.

Yeah the Long Island schools pretty much play other Long Island schools. St. Anthony plays Delbarton, which is one of the few NJ catholic schools that top publics can still beat. Most of the Thanksgiving games in NJ are done. Phillipsburg vs Easton is still huge. Have to get to that game one year, work with a few guys who went to both schools. That one and Millville vs Vineland in south Jersey have been going on for over 100 years.

Twice right quick, and nothing since. Come on, Troy. America's getting sober.

Same here, except for the age thing. I have a third interview (a phone one) set up with an exec next week after having an HR phone interview and an in-person group interview with three people. Fingers and toes are crossed.

    Happy Thanksgiving all.
I am also thankful for family, work, etc. Our office always has a four-day weekend for Thanksgiving, which is awesome. Boss bought everyone lunch yesterday and we got out early. Hard to beat that. I'm also thankful for the new church family we found this summer. A lot of people (about 15 families) from our old church also switched to this church, plus I've made good connections with a lot of others.
We're going to my brother's place this afternoon. Won't see my brother much, since his school is involved with PK80 basketball tournament in Portland.

    Best Thanksgiving ever.

No family this year but "she" is over.

She's sleeping now after three hours of Mac and Cheese pizza, Vikings/Lions.

    And no clothes.

    Best. Thanksgiving. Ever.

First Thanksgiving as a diabetic ...

Replaced mashed potatoes with a baked sweet potato and mixed it with butter and turkey gravy.

Did not eat stuffing, which was tough not to cuz I love stuffing.

Ate just one piece of homemade French bread with a hunk of garlic butter.

The rest of the meal was good: turkey, asparagus, small piece of carrot mold, bit of salad.

2 hours later the #bloodsugar was 135 which is about as good as I could ask for.

And, just played my 8-year-old goddaughter in chess for the first time and whooped her.

Over in Trenton/Hamilton Township, Steinert and Hamilton High West are still going strong on Thanksgiving. Played today for the 59th time.

Still one of those left in California, the "Big Bone" game between Lincoln and San Jose highs. Both teams aren't that good, but in the years they've been near a playoff berth, they usually refuse to keep the tradition alive.
