Only fair, since Obama and Kerry ceded the Syrian war to the Russians, who showed their was a military solution to the problem.

I don’t know how many times Nate Silver has to write or say some form of, “When you are dealing in probabilities, sometimes you’re wrong” before people believe that he means that. It’s not a “hedge.” He recognizes that there are limits to his own craft.

Silver was an outstanding poker player. Made a fortune. And he lost lots of hands.

Which part of this timeline do you dispute?

    - Obama drew a red line.
    - Congress demanded Obama get their authorization for action
    - Republicans then declined to give that authorization
    - You’re now complaining Obama didn’t take military action

Heh. I'd love to see everybody --- hell, anybody --- list the "wrong" presidential choices they have made.

I said this a while back. In my sixth grade class mock presidential election, I was one of five or six out who voted for Mondale of a class of about 25.

    So let's continue.

Why was it the wrong selection?

It wasn’t. The idea that one can have made a “wrong” choice is nonsense.

Spoken by somebody who obviously never bought an AMC Pacer. :)

Yeah, but you didn’t buy the Gremlin!

I’ll clarify ... in the context of voting, the idea that one can have made a wrong choice is nonsense.

Because I refused to cave into peer pressure to vote for Reagan, making me even more of a social outcast than I already was.
