    My brother-in-law's brother (a Trump supporter) refused to attend their niece's mid-Oct. 2016 wedding because she was a Hillary supporter. He told her unless she switched to Trump, he & and wife would boycott her wedding. She told him "I don't tell you who to vote for so please don't tell me who I should vote for" and he didn't attend the wedding, send her a gift or has spoken to her and his sister since. This happened not in the South but in DuPage County, IL. DuPage, a historically solid Republican county (17 of our 18 elected county officials are Republicans). Last November, DuPage ended up voting 54%-39% Clinton over Trump.
