President Trump: The NEW one and only politics thread

Since we're playing: My roundtrip commute is about 80 miles and crosses into another state (and through three counties, though if I drop my kids off at daycare it becomes four counties, and if I decide to take a route different from the outer beltway it's five counties). Still, it's rarely longer than 40 minutes each way.

 

I just stepped mine off. It's about 18 feet, each way. More if I detour to the lav on the way.

 

About 24 minutes in the morning, 30 minutes for the return trip in the afternoon. Worth it not to live in suburban blah hell.

 

My envy is palpable.

 

I live closer to said hell but my commute times are almost exactly the same.

 

I cross the state line to get to work and drive 45 miles each way. Add in all the mileage for covering things and I put about 40-43k miles on my car every year.

Podcasts are man's greatest invention.

 

I was prepared to commute 80 minutes each way into Baltimore. And in retrospect, I am so thankful Tronc put a kibosh to that.
