I’m sure someone rallies the troops. I remember I’d get like 30 #madonline emails after a column with some variation of the same talking point and I would think, “OK, which message board?”

Outside is the world’s crunchiest magazine. Also probably my favorite. It’s mountain porn.

Maybe a bit of hyperbole on my part. But there are a lot of guys comparing Outside’s coverage of sexual assault to “ESPN going leftist.”

The punchline comes in the last paragraph. He is a coaching disciple of 15 second Rick Pitino!!

Bennett has publicly admitted before that he’s struggled with sex addiction. He worked under Rick Pitino as an assistant coach at Kentucky beginning in 1995, and he followed Pitino to the Boston Celtics in 1997—but he was fired in 1998, for what he later described as problems that arose from his sex addiction.

A long time ago, in a galaxy far away, I was a columnist for about four months. The guy before me had been VERY unpopular in my isolated market, so unpopular that a local sporting goods store actually sold bumper stickers that read "SMITH HAPPENS" (as in "Shit Happens"). So when I took over, apparently in anticipation of my being similarly unpopular, bumper stickers with my name like that were printed up. Only trouble was, I wasn't unpopular ... I was just boring. Which is why I was a columnist for only four months.
