Rep. Clymers also calls for Conyers' resignation. The whole thing isn't just political, there's the element of the common family drama, how do we convince Gramps to move to assisted living? It ties families in knots, causes sharp divisions, and usually just yelling at Gramps doesn't work. But as happened to Conyers today, some medical emergency often unites the family in the conviction that it must be done and Gramps will get used to it.

The Reagan tax cuts required two years to write. There were many hearings. Decisions were made with input from both parties. It was repeatedly adjusted in an attempt to pass a well reasoned and fair tax bill.

This bill, like the ACA repeal and replace, is a partisan piece of crap which was written on the fly and then stuffed with random pork to buy the votes of Senators who had objections. The long term damage to this country that Trump will leave in his wake is staggering, and the Republican party will be on the hook for it. Fuck Paul Ryan with a splintery two by four.

The only reason for the Republicans to pass this pile of dung is that they *have* to have something to show the voters next year. They'd rather have this bucket of diarrhea in hand than nothing at all... which is very telling of how serious they are about actually governing.

First will come the speculative boom fueled by slinging mass amounts of capital into the hands of a relatively small group of people. Then the panic and bust that follows all booms. Then the recession/depression exacerbated by the lower-to-upper redistribution of income. Should take from 3 to 7 years for the whole cycle.

I saw that picture of Keillor, and he looks just like Weinstein and that Nickelodean creep. All these creeps are old, fat, sweaty and balding.

As has been pointed out a few times by various people, THE MINUTE THE INK IS DRY on this tax bill, the deficit hawks who sat on their hands will emerge from the shadows and say "Whoa! How did the deficit get so big! We really need to cut entitlements right now to SAVE the country."

Deficit concern is a lie. A blatant lie. The Freedom Caucus was founded on that and that alone, and they revealed themselves to be complete liars at the first opportunity under a GOP president.

Similar to the concern about the debt all of a sudden. Your idols are full of shit, too.
