And they aren't even in the Billboard Top 10!

No love yet for "Pure Comedy"? Father John Misty's records each sound a little different, and he really nailed the early '70s pre-superstardom Elton John vibe.

Saw that on the Rolling Stone list I think.

I've heard of a quarter of the list and will endorse St. Vincent and LCD Soundsystem. Too bad that Arcade Fire stuck with the disco formula on its latest.

That would be locked in some apartment with their heads in the oven, worried.

I'm a huge fan, though I can see where FJM is a little too much for people. I dig the vibe though.

This Benjamin Booker cat is pretty damn good. Never heard of him before, but digging this album.

This list is just lying all over my lawn naked on a Sunday morning.

I love St. Vincent and Courtney Barnett.

A big favorite of 2017 for me - Bill and the Belles 'Swallowtail Coat.'

I'm 61 now. I look at these lists or the artists headlining the big festivals and I feel fairly good if I know one in ten of them. The other side of that is that with a decent internet music service (I'm on Napster, what used to be Rhapsody) any of these lists that include an interesting review, I can just play the album and find out for myself. That's a big improvement. Thing is that I don't listen to nearly as much new music as I used to. Too many old friends to revisit, so it's hard for new stuff to wedge it's way in.

Sharon and the Dap Kings. The new Sam Smith. Isbell and the 400, Nashville Sound. I've got a month, I'll try to mine a couple of lists for more.
