As a result of his guilty plea, Flynn's son won't be charged. Yup, I'm sure this is the end of it. No evidence of a proffer here!

Michael Flynn scheduled to plead guilty to lying to FBI

As part of Flynn’s negotiations, his son, Michael G. Flynn, is not expected to be charged, according to a person with knowledge of the talks.

Mueller has made a very narrow indictment. Four separate instances of lying to the FBI rolled into one indictment for false statements. Since we already know that Flynn is guilty on FARA violations (since he signed FARA documents well after he left the White House) and no other indictment was issued, we know that Mueller is being nice to Flynn. Why would he do that? The charges issued are worth maybe five years in jail. Nothing regarding his son at this point, either.

Flynn is giving up info on Kushner, Trump, Jr., and/or Trump. Those are the people above Flynn that he can get credit for rolling over on. The smaller fry count - Sessions, Stephen Miller and the like - but Mueller's not going to be nice over being fed the small fry. Remember that Manafort's ankle bracelet came off yesterday as well.

Remember the story about the Trump lawyers being overheard in a D.C. steakhouse arguing about the danger of lying about Flynn?

Remember too that Flynn was dismissed from the Obama White House and that Obama personally warned Trump about Flynn. I'd bet that Mueller has a damn good case for obstruction of justice if he stopped now, but he's not going to. We just watched a guy who was the National Security Advisor ten months ago walk into court and plead guilty. More to come, sure as hell. It is to Mueller's advantage to move slowly, because that lets the pressure and paranoia build. He'll be getting truer and more complete answers now than before, and every lie that comes out will burn all the others who told the same lie.

You beat me to this. Markets went ape on this tweet. More reporting needed, obviously, but if this is true, this gets fun from here.
