Dow was down 300 points at one point today but it seems to be rebounding. Now down 237.

Right. Just piggybacking off the point that there was some instability when the Flynn news broke.

 

I just think the wish upon a star prison game is silly. If he is convicted of a crime and does time, he gets what he deserves. But if some combination of arrogance, idiocy and malevolence were illegal, we'd all be in prison.

Edit to add: "I want so-and-so to go to prison because he's a dick!" is the flip side of "Lock her up!"

I have no doubt that Trump has forced him to eat shit on multiple occasions. I doubt that Pence comes out of this without his own obstruction/perjury charges, so no Presidency for him. It would be very hard to resist sticking a knife in Trump under those circumstances.

That said, if he wants a fat job later with a right wing think tank, big speaking fees, or to have any political future whatsoever in the Republican party, he has to keep his mouth shut and play good soldier.
