There are only 2 people on earth whom I believe absolutely nothing that they say: Lena and Trump.

 

That Weinstein walks the earth as a free man is proof that there is no god.

 

I enjoyed the detail in the Times story that Harvey's private investigators searched for people talking about him in the company email by seeing who had written "fat fuck."

 

What if Lena says Trump's a misogynist? Or if Trump says Lena's a no-talent foof?

 

It is merely coincidental when any words that those two idiots say resemble the truth.

 

I suppose the "blind hog" proverb obtains in both directions there. Damn near literally.

Restitution is a sticky business. If you’ve achieved pariahhood by credible allegations of rape or assault, there’s no way to make things right short of going to jail. (If you’re reading, Harvey, you can stop here.) “I’m sorry” just isn’t enough. “I’ll be better in the future” doesn’t cut it, either. Giving money to a good cause can help level things, but the gesture must be proportionate to the size of your estate; that’s why Weinstein’s $5 million offer was laughable.

 

I do find it amazing that Gretchen Carlson wasn't mentioned in the Time POY story. Megyn Kelly was, but not Carlson. As bad an oversight as SI leaving Kaepernick off of the "protest" cover.
