But there's no proof of collusion.

Tap, haven't you heard? We've moved way past "there was no collusion" and even on past "collusion is not a crime" and now we're at "the President can not commit a crime." Get with the program!

Dumbass lawyer. Bad strategic decision, and Moore now gets to capitalize on it right before the election.

He is completely wrong about this last line, as this board regularly illustrates. Few if any Republicans have turned on their racist, traitorous leader -- thus the 78% percent approval rating among them:

Presidential Approval Ratings -- Donald Trump

    Dumb, dumb, dumb.

No human ever thinks that their actual story or evidence is convincing enough. It's why writers use so many damn adverbs.

Turning against him is not the same as realizing that he has burned your party to the ground. Decent Republicans are in somewhat the same position as Alabama R's regarding Roy Moore - they know he's scum, but they can't bear to admit that their party has gone that far wrong and turn loose. The Democrats are de debbil, they have been assured for many years, so they *just can't* admit their party has lost its bearings and vote for one.

That is 100% what is happening. And it's not some random accident. The rules written to keep white men in power are succeeding at keeping white men in power.

I think when historians look back at the Trump years, they'll note that he and his fellow racist, traitorous Republicans proved once and for all just how weak and non-democratic our Constitution and the political systems that sprang forth from it, are.
