In my day, it was more like a sprint to the men's room rather than the concessions.

Some of our venues offer walking tacos ... crumbled Doritos, lettuce, salsa, beans in a Doritos bag and mixed all together. I think it looks gross.

Frito pie is enough reason to sprint to the concession stand and push kids out of the way en route

Frito pie is so good, I started making my own with homemade chili and fritos. Good shit.

Next time tell the photog to F' Off, but do it with a mouth so full of food they can barely hear you

My in-laws used to run a concession trailer that they'd take to festivals and such, they sold walking tacos and taco salads. My wife asked her dad once what was in each, and he rattled off the same ingredients for both.

    "Dad, then what's the difference?"
    "Oh, about a dollar-fifty."

I don't see the issue with eating - especially before the game - but that was a bizarre request for him to make.

I don't do the 50/50 raffles or the "pass the hat" during the games because I'm trying to be impartial and don't want to be seen as "giving money to one school over another" kind of thing. Plus god forbid I'd win. Then I'd feel obligated to give it back to the booster club when in reality there's a good chance that'd be half my paycheck.

Ha. One and only time I ever won the 50-50, I was at a girls hoops game as a spectator. It was fairly lightly attended. I bought a few dollars worth of 50-50 tickets. The prize, I kid you not, was $8.
