The fact that Trump drinks 12 Diet Cokes a day just as easily be flipped to be seen as part of Trump's Everyman appeal. I'm a little baffled at the suggestion these details should be left out if a piece that also refers to Twitter as his Excaliber because they might cause some sneering in Boulder. They might also be celebrated in Huntsville or Helena.

    *Sigh*

DD said it's not "shaming" because Diet Coke has "zero calories."

It's absolutely shaming. Try telling foodie liberals that you drink Diet Coke. And then brace for the (scientifically unfounded) lecture.

Two new and perhaps the last polls to be released in Alabama. Emerson: Moore up 9. Fox News: Jones up 10.

LOL. The media told us Obama had quit smoking, despite evidence to the contrary.

FDR was in a fucking wheelchair, which was obviously never reported, and you’re trying to tell me he faced scrutiny similar to Trump?

Dick, c'mon. Look at this as a journalist and not as a guy who likes Diet Coke and likely takes shit for it. Leave them out of a profile about his daily habits?

I'm sure that's the detail's intended audience. Conservatives in Huntsville.

You know what? It's almost less about the New York Times than it is that so many other publications zeroed in on this for their clickbait rip-off pieces.

    I can't! Remember?

    (That's a joke.)

You just compared Sean Hannity to objective reporters from the New York Times.

Which party do you think suffers in that comparison?

Diet Coke is terrible. Don't know how anyone drinks it. Although I have a co-worker obsessed with it. I need to shame him for tacitly supporting Trump.

It seems to revolve around how you set up your likely voter screens. An off-year, special election that has become partially nationalized? Who the hell knows.
