If it's true, it's true. And, if it's true, it's relevant and newsworthy regardless of the president's party.

If Warren consumed that kind of diet, that would be super relevant information.

Was the widely-read story about President Obama eating 7 almonds meant to cast him as a dilettante or info about his actual diet?

Here we have an exact comp. The same paper wrote the same stuff about two presidents actual eating habits. The facts aren't in dispute. But one is considered unfair. That's absurd.

OK, I know what you're trying to say here, but a fact is not relevant and newsworthy just because it's a fact.

I don't need to know where Warren shops for her milk.

Can you dig up a link to the Obama story?

Anybody who eats well done steak should be shamed, regardless of their politics.

The story provides insight into the man.

Is it OK to say Don Jr. slathers his hair with some sort of greasy gook to get that slicked-back hair look that he borrows from people who lived in the 1950s?

To stay awake, the president does not turn to caffeine. He rarely drinks coffee or tea, and more often has a bottle of water next to him than a soda. His friends say his only snack at night is seven lightly salted almonds.

“Michelle and I would always joke: Not six. Not eight,” Mr. Kass said. “Always seven almonds.”

No. It was written to commend his healthy choices.

    From the story itself:

It would be a lot more OK without the Vietnam-era racial slur. It would be way funnier if his name was Charlie.

It wasn't. That is your subjective judgement of the story. It was written as insight into his habits and not disputed. The same is true if Trump. And yet here we have two men making different choices and we need to soft peddle the one making unhealthy choices, which are not in dispute, in deference to what ... unhealthy people's feelings? This is insane.

Finally, after all these years. Someone has posted some actual actionable intel on this board.
