    I await your ... revised ... summing-up — particularly as regards @YankeeFan — with great eagerness,

Jones' win was due to two things. Black Democrats showing up and suburban Republicans staying home. Both equally important and each deserve credit. It's hard to go against partisanship. If they couldn't bring themselves to vote for Moore, sitting out was a principled choice.

The Merry Christmas is a nice touch, but I doubt the Moore guy knows Tapper is Jewish, (but might suspect it because he's from New York and so smart).

Thoughts and prayers for republicans' attempts to elect an accused child molester who thinks Muslims can't serve in Congress.

    Nah, we can do both.

Unlike you Trumpists who can't stop belittling the overwhelming majority of voters who went for Hillary.

It’s not Trumpism that got defeated.

Trump didn’t support Moore in the primary, and as bad a candidate as he was, Moore would have won easily if not for the revelations that came out after he secured the nomination.

This was a very specific race.

Moore got 91% of the Republican vote.

I’ll give Republicans credit for being too ashamed to show up, I guess.

As I just saw in a tweet, every Senator is happy with this outcome.

But YF is right. Jones' win takes away a huge weapon for the Dems in 2018.

This is perfect. No Moore in Washington and Trump backed a child molester. Oh, and both guys Trump backed in Alabama got beat. Good night.
