    Doug Jones.

"I think I have been waiting all my life and now I don't know what the hell to say," Jones said Tuesday night.

"I am truly overwhelmed," he added. "We have shown, not just around the state of Alabama, but we have shown the country the way that we can be unified."

"This entire race has been about dignity and respect. This campaign -- this campaign has been about the rule of law," he said. "This campaign has been about common courtesy and decency and making sure everyone in this state, regardless of which zip code you live in, is going to get a fair shake in life."

Some of y'all were severely lacking in faith. Regardless of the stereotype, and the sort of behavior that causes stereotypes to form, there are a lot of good and decent people here. You just don't hear from them because the yammerheads make better copy.

Fucking A. I'm gonna go give Bannon hell till he blocks me on Twitter.

UAB in a Bowl, Roy Moore loses, and Trump gets humiliated. I'm going to savor my bourbon.

The key is that instead of having to get three Republicans to vote against a proposal to kill it, the Democrats now only have to get two.

Sens. Murkowski (Alaska) and Collins (Maine) have voted against ObamaCare repeals in the past and voted against Betsy DeVos for Education Secretary. If Jones were in the Senate at the time, that's all the Dems would need to kill ObamaCare without McCain, and Pence would never have had a chance to break the tie for DeVos.

That vote potentially makes a HUGE difference, even if it's just the symbolism.

They have already said that the winner will not be seated until 2018, whether it was Roy or Jones. Luther Strange is a nice obedient McConnell puppet, they'll keep him as long as possible.

I really hope this tax relief bill goes down in flames now because rich people not getting a tax break will make all my bills go away and remove the daily financial pressure of raising two kids on my own.

The correct capitalization and grammar is a dead giveaway. We’ll get his real thoughts in about 7 hours, when he points out he supported Luther Strange and he got far more votes in Alabama than either candidate did.

We should ask terrorists if they support tax cuts for the rich, then do the opposite.
