No campaign contributions unless you are a registered voter of the district or State where the candidate seeks election.

At the end of the day a serial sex offender still got half a million votes and made everyone sweat it out. That's not any sort of victory.

Disagree. Winning is winning. This was one of the two or three most Republican (and racially polarized) states in the Union. It's a big win.

    That would be outstanding.

    Michael-
    Establishment Republicans are douchebags.
Liars, phonies, craven, self-serving. They don't represent anyone and have no political principles.
But they do know how to win elections. At least the slam-dunk ones. The candidates that run for these seats in 2018 will not be as damaged as Roy Moore.

The victory was in actually convincing enough Republican voters that he was a "child molester" to swing the election. These were not people inclined to believe the Washington Post, and they had it hammered into their skulls constantly for the last two weeks that the Washington Post is a partisan rag that publishes #FakeNews.

I can remember being in California when Arnold poisoned that well and destroyed the party perhaps permanently in the state.
If this were a parliamentary system, the Rs would be holding a no-confidence vote and Trump would be resigning. He should do so anyway. He's cyanide.

Sure it feels great to poke the swamp creatures in the eye. Unfortunately it's counterproductive and doesn't do anything to advance the agenda, and that's all that matters.
This cult-of-personality garbage, Bannon wearing a fatigue jacket, Moore riding a horse theatrics - it's all fuckin ridiculous. And it is not a winning hand.

He should but he won’t. Trump is practically above the law as president. The acts of impeachment by the House and trial and conviction by the Senate are political in nature. The only possible way to get him is the 2020 election. Forget about the 25th amendment as well. That’ll never happen.
