Here's a criminal charge I just heard on a 2006 Law & Order episode: "disseminating indecent materials to minors". That term is much more specific and much less deviant than what it would be more broadly categorized today as "child porn". "Child" and "minor/teen" should be defined differently for legal purposes.

Distinctions in written language matter and help us make better decisions. Perhaps in Oklahoma, consensual pot enhanced homosexual activity with a 17 year-old in exchange for money should not warrant a minimum of 8 1/2 years in federal prison.
