Trump in full meltdown mode outside Marine One.

He also just said he didn't want to talk about pardons for Flynn "yet." (his word).

Big rant about FBI, Justice, Hillary.

Don't want to believe a liberal? Let Michael Bloomberg explain why this tax legislation is so utterly stupid and ill-conceived:

This Tax Bill Is a Trillion-Dollar Blunder

Corporations are sitting on a record amount of cash reserves: nearly $2.3 trillion. That figure has been climbing steadily since the recession ended in 2009, and it's now double what it was in 2001. The reason CEOs aren't investing more of their liquid assets has little to do with the tax rate.

CEOs aren't waiting on a tax cut to "jump-start the economy" -- a favorite phrase of politicians who have never run a company -- or to hand out raises. It's pure fantasy to think that the tax bill will lead to significantly higher wages and growth, as Republicans have promised. Had Congress actually listened to executives, or economists who study these issues carefully, it might have realized that.

    And ...

In effect, the tax bill achieves four main things:
    • It takes money away from schools and students.
    • It restricts our ability to invest in infrastructure.
    • It does nothing to boost real wages while making health insurance more expensive.
    • It makes it harder to control the costs of Medicare and Social Security without cutting defense and other spending -- or further exploding the deficit.
To what end? To hand corporations big tax cuts they don't need, while lowering the tax rate paid by those of us in the top bracket, and allowing the wealthy to shelter more of their estates.

If you want to claim to be a Bible scholar, you need to have read the various books in their original language.

That people claim to take the word of the Bible literally, when they are reading (a translation of) a translation, points to how silly the concept is.

There's a reason why Muslims the world over read the Koran in the original Arabic, and no one who doesn't speak Arabic, or who hasn't read the Koran in Arabic would ever be taken seriously as a scholar.

    LOL.

Bloomberg may be pro-business, and there are certainly people to his left, but Michael is a liberal.

Canada has had it pretty good under NAFTA:

More a quarter of Canadian firms could move part of their operations to the United States amid uncertainty over the future of the NAFTA trade pact, the nation’s export credit agency said on Friday.

The semi-annual forecast by Export Development Canada underlines the challenges posed by the more isolationist approach to trade of U.S. President Donald Trump’s administration.

Canada sends 75 percent of all goods exports to the United States
and could be badly hit if Washington walks away from the North American Free Trade Agreement. One way to cushion the potential blow is to set up shop in the United States.

EDC said 26 percent of the 1,002 firms surveyed “indicated that they are moving - or are considering moving - part of their operations inside the U.S. border in response to the elevated uncertainty regarding U.S. trade policy”.

On a Friday? That would be irregular, wouldn't it? I'd be more inclined to believe the story if it said the announcement was coming on Monday.
