First thing I thought was that it was sloppily phrased. Not THE Medal.

He was an officer in the Marines in 'Nam.

Per Wikipedia: For his service in and during the Vietnam War, his military decorations and awards include: the Bronze Star Medal with Combat "V", Purple Heart Medal, two Navy and Marine Corps Commendation Medals with Combat "V", Combat Action Ribbon, National Defense Service Medal, Vietnam Service Medal with three 3⁄16" bronze stars, Republic of Vietnam Gallantry Cross, Republic of Vietnam Campaign Medal, and Parachutist Badge.[5][17]

Several of those are not "I was there" medals. The Bronze Star is the fourth highest U.S. medal for valor, and the V indicates that it was awarded more than once.

I notice that while you are busily throwing rocks at Bloomberg, you are not disputing his opinion.

I have not seen anyone, anywhere who has been able to credibly dispute the key points Bloomberg and many others in the business community have raised.

I wonder what James Carville would say about this.

A well-known women's rights lawyer sought to arrange compensation from donors and tabloid media outlets for women who made or considered making sexual misconduct allegations against Donald Trump during the final months of the 2016 presidential race, according to documents and interviews.

California lawyer Lisa Bloom's efforts included offering to sell alleged victims' stories to TV outlets in return for a commission for herself, arranging a donor to pay off one Trump accuser's mortgage and attempting to secure a six-figure payment for another woman who ultimately declined to come forward after being offered as much as $750,000, the clients told The Hill.

The women's accounts were chronicled in contemporaneous contractual documents, emails and text messages reviewed by The Hill, including an exchange of texts between one woman and Bloom that suggested political action committees supporting Hillary Clinton were contacted during the effort.

No different from this, right? Except for the amount being offered ...

Have dirt that could impeach Trump? Larry Flynt will pay you $10 million.
